This is the boxed section, similar in format to a Nutrition Facts panel on food. It lists serving size, servings per container, and each dietary ingredient with its amount per serving.
A "clinically studied dose" claim only means something relative to the actual serving size on the label. If a study used 5 grams of an ingredient daily and the product's serving size delivers 500 milligrams, the clinical backing doesn't transfer. Always compare the labeled dose to the number used in research, not just whether the ingredient is present.
The FDA allows source ingredients to be listed within the Supplement Facts panel itself, for example "Calcium (as calcium carbonate)" (FDA). When a company names the specific form, like magnesium glycinate versus magnesium oxide, that's usually a sign of a more transparent brand, since specific forms often have different absorption profiles worth knowing about.
Below the Supplement Facts panel, the ingredient list (labeled "Other Ingredients" if some ingredients already appear in the Supplement Facts panel) covers everything else: binders, fillers, colors, and flavors.
